Who am I?
In order to truly understand yourself you have to ask yourself many questions. One of those questions being, “Who am I?” My name is Trinity Adams and I am a writer for the RHS Acorn. I’m a freshman here at RHS and I play both volleyball and softball. I’m currently on the varsity volleyball team and I’m very excited for the rest of the season. I have 4 sisters, 2 cats, and 1 dog. When I am older I would love to either be a Marine Biologist, a writer for a newspaper, or work in the criminal justice program. I decided to join newspaper for many reasons. One of those reasons being I consider journalism as a career option. I've seen some articles on what it is like to be a journalist and from what I have seen journalism could be a fun and creative career for me. Another reason I took newspaper is because it could help me with my writing skills. In 11th grade everyone has to take the writing SOL and by taking newspaper, where we have to write and edit many articles, I will be able to enhance my writing techniques and skills. There are many things that motivate me in life. One thing is a feeling you get everytime you help your team win a game or score a point. It is a rush of energy that goes through you where you get excited, happy, and crazy all at the same time. It can also be when you get a A on a test you studied hard and worked for. You create this feeling of happiness where you know you provided this good grade for yourself. Those feelings motivate me everyday to work hard and push through anything that stands in my way.
